Going a bit OT I know,

A Fleetwood Discovery @ 36ft, I can see the need for independent transport for local trips to the shop etc.

But an Autoroller 70 @ 18ft, Confused Confused

Nowt to do with size madam Laughing

As I said, flexibility is the key, if we are touring & staying at a site 1 or 2 nights, no point in taking the car but if sited for a week and comfily settled with the satellite dish/electrics connected, awning out etc. etc. we've no desire to pack all that away every day and re-connect every night on return.

Even at only 19ft for the Roller our little Daihatsu Charade is so much more convenient for local trips/touring.

We have the best of both worlds, caravanners when we want to be, freedom motorhomers when we don't. Bliss Smile
