Was all excited to go away Easter weekend with the promise of using my new 600mm lens and gimble.
Sadly the weather was so bad I only managed a couple of walks in the rain.
Bogged down on the campsite with Libby still on the trailer and a rainbow overhead
A Nissan Terrano helping a Range Rover with caravan!
12 x 12 wheel drive!
A Messy Range Rover
The Nissan Terrano was the only vehicle which managed to drive on site all weekend!
Libby through a wide angle lens at the Three Counties Mini Show
I was taking pics of rabbits and spotted the one on the right. The picture is so heavily cropped it was only a dot on the original picture. It was only when I got home and zoomed in that I spotted the rabbit on the left. This is why a Nikon D3X with 24MP is soooo good!
Again heavily cropped and just love this pheasant watching me.
Ciao and thanks, lovely pictures. A bit of a kick in the teeth though for Landrover fans like me! I don't believe it, a Nissan pulling a Landrover out of trouble. Photomontaggio if you ask me.
saluti,
eddied

What a pity the campsite ground was so muddy. I think all the sites that want us on rallies or even on the main pitches need to do more about their ground.
Lets face it the UK has a lot of rain. Even if they haven't hardstanding there should be more grit etc put down. One reason we didn't go away as planned for Easter as we new it would be a soggy grass field!
Great pictures Chris but I dont like all that mud it really is not me.
We have camped in Rallies over the years like that but you just dont want to take the dog for a walk at 6 in the morning.
À tous mes amis du forum thankyou pour toutes vos pensées agréables et avec son amour derrière moi je lutterai contre mon conflit avec un esprit de postive et le triomphe
As we were near the entrance which had the only hard ground area the Nissan managed to pull us free.
Hi Eddied,
I am a Discovery 3 driver and it was a bit upsetting! However, the driver of the Nissan, who had only just become a 4 x 4 driver and had never had any training was superb. He did everything right and I take my hat off to his self taught driving skills.
Hi Rita,
If we did not have to be there to take Libby to the Mini show at Three Counties Showground we would not have gone. Annoyingly the guy who promised me he would be there at the show to install the leather seats in Libby did not turn up!
Eleanor and I arrived at 08:15 as he asked me to be there early and I continued to call his mobile and leave messages. He eventually called me at 10:30 to say he had broken down. I gave him two hours and left disgruntled at 12:30
Great pictures Chris but I dont like all that mud it really is not me.

Hi Mavis,
Got to agree, it is not something I would do again in a hurry. Meg was so dirty we had to keep Her in the kitchen area on a towel. Bless Her!
