Gerry, I have just bought that Image 430 aerial and a pole from a local caravan stockist. Will be interested to see how it performs next week and thanks.

Derek,
Good luck with it, don't forget to use the digitaluk website for aerial direction.

Thanks. It works fine in the van but not digital as it's behind the bulk of the house. Don't carry internet with us, so will have to rely on where other aerials are pointing I suppose.

Gerry - I tried it once we were established at Sennen Cove for the week and it was fine. Couldn't get Beeb at the same time as ITV, but just needed a small rotation to get one or the other. For what we used it, like 10 o'clock news a couple of nights and one World Cup highlights it was fine.

Sometimes it pixellated but I put that down to a fairly pesky wind (what else - near Lands End?) but I did notice aerials on site were pointing in 3 different directions, one even to Scilly Isles.

Anyway, once again thanks for the recommendation.

Derek,
Pleased to see you don't do half measures. Sennen Cove must be one of the most difficult places to get a terrestrial signal.

I thought it might be and folk on the site were as easily confused. But what we got was OK.

Not sure where we will be next but probably not as extreme.

Cheers.
