Hi,
My new (to me) Swift Royale 630 has a safe fitted under the dinette, near the water heater.
It came with the van, but unfortunately the dealer didn't have the number or key for it.
On the front panel to the right is a keypad, in the middle is a lift off cover and a keyhole.
It appears to be one of those round keys, like you often find on the u shaped pushbike locks. Now there is a number below that lock on printed paper. (it has letters in it too, so can't be for keypad)
Do you think i could be lucky and find that this is the key number i need, if so can a locksmith just supply a new key, or will i need to provide some paperwork?
Hi Riverboat.
Many such safes come with a default code of 1, 5, 9, A. If yours has the 1 to 9 keypad and then A&B below.
If it works then you will have to change the code to your own one.

I have a similar safe, bought from Screwfix my key has a number on it which corresponds with the lock number. There is a seven digit number beginning with a letter on the inside of the safe on sticker but the number on the key is just the first four digits. I suppose a decent lock smith should have access to the number required. I have a photo of the key if it helps. Chasper.
Hi again Riverboat.
As Chasper has shown they do have their 'default' code on the key. Obviously this is not the safest of security options. Just hope the previous owner hasn't changed it to his 'memorable' code or your stuffed.
Again if the key opens it you can test from the electronic code with the door OPEN!!! Either 1,5,9,AorB or the number on the key.

The key is separate from the electronic system. If the battery is not in the safe the code will not work anyway. I have 2 different safes (not both in the van) and the key numbers are different for each safe. The key number relates to the lock and is completely separate from the electronic keycode.
