Hi All,

Thought you might like to see these pics. A local Church organisation is doing an exhibition and wanted photos from places of worship in the Calne area.

These four are all taken at Yatesbury Church just outside Calne.

'1847'

'In Loving Memory'

'The Pipes Of Peace'

'Long Since Forgotten'

Best regards

Chris

Hi All,

Just going through the images and found this one. Have not printed this, but may do if I get a chance tomorrow.

Not sure if it will show up, but the detail is superb. This was taken with a Nikon D3X and just shows how good a 25meg camera can be.

Regards

Chris

Hi Sue,

I guessed that is what he meant, but perhaps he did not read my opening statement about taking these photos for a local organisation who has asked our camera club to do so!

So the thread was not about what he liked in terms of the images taken but hopefully the quality of the photography.

Got to say it was great fun and looking forward to the competition tonight to see what others have done.

Best regards

Chris

Hi All,

Pipes of Peace got first place and the stained glass window which I managed to print got highly commended.

All off to the heritage museum for a couple of months exhibition.

Regards

Chris

Well done Chris

I personally like old graveyards and find them fascinating.
