Hi
I have read with interest all your answers and of course they are more or less correct from the posters point of veiw.
However I take a different veiw of watching Digital television in your motor home , namely would you actually put up a Status aerial at home, no, I very much doubt that you would, so why do we motor homers hold on to the idea that the stupid useless overpriced flying saucer thingies Confused on your roof is an ideal solution for watching TV.
Took mine off within a week of buying the van. Rolling Eyes
The so called overpriced digital alternitives are not much better. Rolling Eyes
Go online and buy either a good freesat box and dish, lots of info on here, or a good digital aerial and mast to mount it.
I have done exactly that and speaking from my own experience have never had trouble getting a signal wherever I have been parked.
regards
Clive.

I bought a 15 in widescreen TV with built in Dvd and freeview for £99 of Richer sounds . Runs off 12v ok.

I have one of those status ones , total rubbish , gets nothing. So got a normal digi aerial , that takes 5 mins to put together. fixed it to the bicycle rack.

I had the no signal bit to, till I realised I had to press Input and then DVT. Then did a search for new channels and it was all sorted, more channels than at home , lol.
