Dusseldorf and Paris Shows Forums

In the past, we have been to both the Dusseldorf and Paris shows. Both are reasonably easy to get to, and both are worth the visit. We have attended the Paris one twice, and came away having [i:f425390b5b]nearly[/i:f425390b5b] bought a motorhome on the first occasion, and having got possession of a Frech-built Autostar on the second.

If you can manage to remain fairly self-sufficient, although the camping isn't free at Dusseldorf on the first two nights as it is at Paris, they do run a free bus into the town from the site in the evening. The Dusseldorf Show is much larger as well. The Paris Show is held at Le Bourget, which is on the outskirts of Paris, and a bus service runs from outside the site. After the first two free nights, there is a charge.

If you are looking for a European based motorhome, there are plenty of marques available to browse through at either show.

As regards to the Duselldorf show, if you get there after 16.30 you get a free night, thereafter 5euros P.N. plus entrance 12 euros for 2 day pass[i:f70e15d62d][/i:f70e15d62d]

Can anyone help ? Does anyone know of a campsite reasonably near to the Dusseldorf show where we can meet other Laika's the night before and then enter the show together.

I understand that the show campsite is so big it is almost impossible to find people. Or am I being paranoid ? Rolling Eyes
