Do i need help or what after doing lots of research we think we have narrowed it down to one of three motorhomes that hopefully will be our mobile heaven does anyone have personal experience of owning and running a hymer b654, rapido 985f or burstner elegance680/681. Any help and advise would be welcome.

Hymer and Burstner are made by the same company. But it comes down to whats important for you e.g. payload was at the top of our list and I personally wasn't worried about a left hand drive, even to the degree that if and when we change I will go for LHD again its proven to be a ideal not only in europe but on a recent trip to the lake district on narrow roads I found I could get right upto the walls on my side of the road with confidence that I was not going to hit them. So how long is a piece of string, I know how hard it is to hand that cheque over but I feel sure you wont regret it. And if you do, have a few weeks holiday out of it to get your monies worth, then flog it.

Hello thanks for your reply we are looking at left hand drive importing from germany we have found the hymer and burstner model that we want are easy to find at good prices the rapido is harder to find? We have been to uk showrooms to check them out the hymer and rapido are very comfortable but the burstners seem to have very hard seating or will this soften with use we really like the burstner layout it seems very spacious.

We have just imported a Burstner Delfin T680 from Germany. We are very pleased with it.
I suppose everyone has a wish list for there perfect M/H.
We started with a bigger washroom and the list grew.

I dont find the seating hard. Its firm.
Our front seats swivels and we use them mostly.

Hi Nora & Neil
The bathroom on the burstner is what swung us away from the hymer we like. Thanks.
