The critical thing is the length, in your case 3.5 meters.
I think the latest models are 5003, but they could have been already updated.

Look here at Omnistor's own website, they are offering part exchange on old awnings.

Hi Tony

Where is Arboleas?

It sounds like Portugal or Spain to me, so it may be difficult for most members to help you.

If you intend to replace the awning then it shouldn't matter which model you choose as its the fitting that counts. Check the type of fitting you have. In many cases on earlier campers the awning was fitted to the side but some were fitted on the top or on the curved roof. You need to know if your fitting is ok and then any newer model Omnistor will fit.

Hi Paps,

Yes you can replace the fabric. If you are planning a trip in Europe then around an hours drive from Calais there is the Omnistor factory and they have a customer service dept that will service/refurbish your awning while you wait. I had my fabric replaced there a couple of years ago, took them around 30 mins to do the job - fantastic service.

There are service agents all around Europe that could do the same

Hi Tony

I have just bought a Hymer 550s with an Omnistor 4000-if you buy a replacement awning for your Hymer 555 would you consider selling the end cap (wind out end ) of yours as mine is broke?

Cheers Chas
