I tried to get a second one of the sets from Richer Sounds last week ...the first one I bought last year is good and I needed a bedroom TV for the house so I thought I would get a spare...no luck ... all sold out at our near branch. It seems that they may now be discontinued If you want one there does seeem to be one or two still at some branches of the shop but you have to collect.
Maybe when the new TVs come out in April ( it seems that is when it happens world wide) there will be a replacement model that will be cheap, cheerful and run on 12v.

A bit of firm pressure on the disc to start and then keep a lighter pressure on the disc until you find the DVD aperture takes up the pressure and you will find that it loads fine.

Just been searching through internet for replacement TV for the van and decided to see if there were any of these TVs available. Richer Sounds still have 3 in their clearance line at £79.95. They did have 4 but just purchased one. Although the web site suggests that you have to purchase from specific store, I rang Romford store and provided I was prepared to pay the £6 transport charge they were happy to send my purcjse to Leeds.
Bought the TV last year and it is fitted on that type of bracket . The only gripe with the tv is the sound is a bit tinny and you need to be eye level with tv . but for a motorhome it is absolutely ideal and a real bargain. I would buy another.

All i can say is that the sound is far better than the 37" Panasonic Freesat/Freeview we have a home and that cost 5x what this one cost.
We have been watching it for the last week (except yesterday!) and been getting excellent pictures all round the Welsh coast using only an £8 "two bent wires" aerial from Argos.
Currently parked up at a Britstops site at Tintern in the Wye valley and still getting a good piccy so there can't be much wrong with the sensitivity of the tuner either.
