Reversing Cam 12v feed - how to connect to ignition switch?

Been following this thread and have just fitted the twin reversing camera and routed the wiring through the cupboards from the back to the cab behind the dash (near the offisde fuse box.) It feels like I started the job last year!

How do I get the 12v ignition-fed connection most easily? My connectors are located right in front of the fuse box but I think they may stretch to the ignition switch if needed.

Do I take off the fuse box by undoing the 2 retaining bolts and wire into the back of it or is it easier to dismantle (how) the ignition switch covers and "T" into that?
