Hi Mark
I started off with a standard Sky dish and an old camera tripod that had a quick release pad on it. Worked well as far south and east as Frankfurt. I now have a Globestat dish on the roof but reception is no better than the old one was. Alignment is critical on the digital system and practice is needed, also a good compass that is not affected by spurious signals from stray magnetic sources.

If you go to the Roadpro site or www.satcure.com you will see footprint maps indicating coverage and the diameter of dish required at locations across
Europe.
Could this information be available on a data base similar to the solar calculator, as we seem to have this question occouring regularly?

To prevent clients from being billed twice for essentially the same service.

Have a look at the Multimo single lnb dish listed on the url below. I have used mine all over the UK and as far south in France as the Dordogne. Because of the style of the lnb (the important bit) it apparently works as if it was a much larger dish. Read the reviews, including one from me. They all compliment the dish
Don't waste your money on fancy dishes unless you want a roof mounted one. A simple domestic minidish with a socketed LNB arm (most of them are) will get you reception in UK and Northern France. Remember that the larger the dish, the more difficult to align!
