Well it has been a long time since I last made a posting on this site. Some of you may remember me, it was in June last year that I was finally diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. I have had radiotherapy treatment to keep the tumour under control but it has left me a lot slower than I was and with mobility problems.
I still have the motorhome and I am very reluctant to sell, so I have applied for a driving assessment later this month to see if it is possible for me to drive again.
If I am found to be safe to drive again I shall be off in the motorhome, it will be different as we used to take our bikes and explore the local area. As I say If I can drive again I am sure to have a lot of questions for you guys.
Regal well done a man after my own heart.
Life changed for me but this last year has proved you can still have a wonderful time and I keep saying this has been the best year of my life.
A funny thing to say when you are staring death in the face but I appreciate my life and family and friends more and Im clinging on with my finger nails.
I do just what I want to do and it is fun.
I do hope you can drive as the M/H has been so good for me --always out and away.
So enjoy your life--it is great.
À tous mes amis du forum thankyou pour toutes vos pensées agréables et avec son amour derrière moi je lutterai contre mon conflit avec un esprit de postive et le triomphe
I know it's OK for me to say but we have a friend with the same kind of brain tumour and she is now back to her old self after radio treatment.
It's amazing what medical science can do now if you get to the right specialist. Keep plugging away.
Ray.

I subscribe to the notion that 'If you want to do it - you WILL do it'
You have the:
1. Goal - to keep and use the motorhome
2. Will - exploring contingencies
3. Guts - discussing it with others - who care
4. Fight - not entertaining the idea of giving up
All the very best
I reckon you'll soon be waving from the drivers seat
