Like several others, I have nothing but praise for Solar Solutions. Their work is top notch, their prices are keen and they are very easy people to work with. Yes they will come and do the work at your home in their mobile workshop. They will also come up to Oxford and collect your motorhome, leaving you with a loaner vehicle. Then you can collect it from Poole when the work is finished, or they can bring it back. It all depends how complex or non-standard the job is. If it is anything unusual or unpredictable, it is best to let them do the work at their Poole facility, where they have access to more parts, equipment etc.
Is DIY a possibility, I did ours with little or no trouble it only a couple of hours work.
Bonus is you know where everything is and how it all goes together should there be a problem on the road.
These amorphous flexible panels are glued to the surface and the web site calls for them to be 'professional installed' otherwise you might have probs with warrantees.

I only responded to the OP's OP Frank, so not aware of specific panel discussed later in thread.
I offer a nationwide mobile service, fitting solar, and get supply any of the mentioned panels (solar solutions, alden-vanbitz,) or veetech panels or can fit your own panels.
Thanks to all who suggested "Solar Solutions." of Poole. We have just been there and had a panel fitted. It charges both batteries and seems to be working well. Good workmanship and helpful advice.
They have probably sorted it by now but anyone going to them should know that they have moved to the other side of the main road. (about 200 yards) and sign posting is a bit poor.
Just had a 160 watt solar pv system installed on my Rimor Superbrig. It comprises of 2 x 80 watt mono panels, dual regulator and LCD digital display unit.
The regulator has settings for sealed or flooded batteries, and can charge 2 separate banks of batteries. You can also set the charging ratios, ie 50/50 or as I have set it 90/10% in favour of the leisure side (2x125ah Elecsol batteries). The digital display is excellent. You can monitor both banks separately, showing current voltages, solar input plus historical data showing discharge/charging etc. It also has a pulse mode for when the batteries are fully charged which conditions the batteries and ensure no overcharging.
All of the work was carried out by Rob, the owner of auto-mate.org.uk. Rob runs a nationwide fitting service, and his knowledge and attention to detail is to be commended, he also fitted my Camos Mk4 dome and installed 2 new leisure batteries, re-siting them under the front passenger seat. Great job!You can call Robl on 07800 591216.
