before i fitted mine i rigged it up on the tow bar and found the image restricted , mounting the camera as high as possible gives the best vision. i wanted mine to also keep an eye on what i was towing and the bikes. low level mounting would not achive this
Cheetahs - what system did you get?

Hi
I have a Marquis Dorset (same as AS Symbol) 2010 model. I can see ok in rear view mirror and wing mirrors when travelling so just need a camera for reversing - mainly to judge distance from walls etc. I am not keen on having monitor on all the time. I have been quoted for a wired CKO system with a monitor which clips on the rear view mirror. Question - does it act like a normal mirror when not in reverse? Has anybody tried/thought of fitting monitor on 'rim' of overhead parcel shelf where it would be out of normal line of vision but could be easily watched while reversing?

I would agree with the Camos system.

A simple thing with cameras "You get what you pay for !!!"

Also my experience with the Rear View Mirror type is that some reflect badly in sunlight and you cant see them.

Also make sure its wired to both ignition and reverse.
