Thanks Les. So well in excess of £3K then? (ie includes £800 for fitting?). What is the EG25 MEF?
Cheers
Garry
At that price you may as well consider something like the TEC29 or the Dometic equivalent. If you shop around you can even get a gas version fitted for not much more and run your 240v stuff as well.
You could get an Efoy for less than that and be virtually silent.
Its all horses for courses but don't forget that the main issue most people have on here and everywhere else is not what you use but when you use it. The EG20, Honda10i, TEC 29 will all make an unacceptable noise at night.
The main reason that I posed the question was because of LPG propulson.I know that it is possible to convert my Honda but havent spoken to anyone who has done it. Any thoughts?
John
Also the TEC 29 has a similar Honda engine and can also be converted to run off LPG. Plus its chassis mounted and controlled from inside the motorhome. BUT ANYTHING WITH AN ENGINE WILL MAKE A NOISE and brass off anyone closeby.
1 Hookup
2 Big batteries and LED lighting.
3 Big solar aray
4 Efoy

noticed your pics in cold. we spend each winter sking in our van and the first year ran a genny off our onboard lpg tank , great in uk as lpg is 100% propane but in europe its a 40/50 per cnt mix,,,much grief with butane which remains liquid at below freezing point .just a thought andy and sue
Thanks A&S... we dont go looking for ski weather but cant seem to avoid it coming home from Spain (Avatar is Millau, France). Our Flair came with Ice Exe which are gas bottle regulator heaters but to be honest we have not had to use them in anger yet.
