More to the point, what's internet access got to do with roaming costs? (Possibly quite a lot sometimes). I thought the subject of the thread was "Roaming Costs". Admittedly the "Communications" forum might have been a more appropriate place to post the thread in the first place but hey - this is recreation, not work, who's being pedantic?

Hi Chris,

If I put it in the wrong slot, abject apologies.
I thought the topic, roaming costs, impinged on that subject ( and did not notice a more appropriate one).
Most people seem to have found it interesting and I have certainly gained a huge amount - as I now have a Riiing card that will save me a lot of money !!!!

Sorry Bill,

I know that was a bit hard - just my frustration at those money-grabbing telecomms providers coming out Smile

I have just purchased a Riing card (now renamed "United Mobiles"). I can ring out on it, but cannot ring in to it- just nothing. I rang the help desk, and they rang the number successfully.

Anybody got any ideas?
