Avtex supplied a three RCA output to 3.5mm connector for the Avtex which fits to one of the connectors shown when I bought a new tv. I lost it and purchased one from another source. The new one did not work so I contacted Avtex and they kindly sent me a new one which worked perfectly. They appear to be very specific cables even though the alternative cable looked identical. Persevere with Avtex. I forgot to add that the other end either connected to a scart to RCA switchable connector or on a Maplin box direct from RCA output sockets.
