I think this may have been dealt with before but as I understand it you have two choices and both of them require the tray being removed.
If you are to repair the tray you should first remove the cause of its cracking which may means building some support beneath the tray where the crack occurred. While you could attempt to use GRP to re-establish a functioning unit, I do not think the outcome would cosmetically be pleasing and the area could remain weak. There are companies who do repair a variety of acrylic materials but sadly, in the long run you would be well advised to replace the unit. O'Learys, Franks Caravans and others may well carry your tray at knock down prices.

There is a small black box with wiring in under van near where the steps return. Ours stopped working and we were told it could need cleaning periodically as it becomes clogged with mud etc.

There's a big petrol tank underneath my van, but wot's THAT got to do with a cracked shower unit??
Dougie.
Asprn, go back to the first post and re-read it mate.
You really need to get a couple of 'i'`s.

To answer the second part of your post: The step buzzer on my 2003 B544 is tucked down to the left of the Electroblock which is under the front of the sliding top cuboard to the right of the front passengers seat. (Or drivers seat in a RHD van)
Mine doesn't work. I don't want it to but would like to find it to check the circuits.
Thanks
Barrie
Hi Barrie,
Sorry, but I can't help with the shower tray.
Re the buzzer, it is exactly where SueandRoger said it would be. Can I please ask you to reconsider your choice of "not wanting the buzzer to work"? A few folks on here have driven off with the steps still deployed, and have subsequently caused irreparable damage to them, resulting in mega bucks being spent to replace them.
I'd never normally be without my buzzer working.
Cheers,
Jock.
P.S/ BTW, sometimes the external switch at the step motor gets a bit claggy.
