We went to Brugge at the end of November. We were going to stay at Memling but after reading some reviews decided on the aire.

Its position is great. Not sure of the rating of the electric but it did not trip out.

I would certainly go again to the aire.

Aire is great situation, easy walk into town - pay your money, take your choice! Bear in mind Brugge is horrendously expensive for everything - last Dec we found mussels & chips were €19-21, go over into France and they're €9-11.

But if you eat in the Square, expect to pay about 3 time what you pay down the side streets. A lot of this is due to very high rents and the profit has to come from somewhere to pay these.

Far to easy to make a blanket statement about somewhere.

If that's what you found, fine - but the €19 mussels were in side streets. Agreed they were a bit dearer on the square, but not that much.

We loved Brugge, but did find it a bit of a tourist trap - compared to, say, Gent. And Belgium as a whole did seem dearer than France.

Now I think you may be over emphasising here. Did it really go Bang? Or was it just a near silent click?

You have me there. Shocked

I was'nt actually in his van at the time so it may well have gone down singing the national anthem for all I know. Rolling Eyes

End result was still the same, no leccy. Smile

Dont know if youev gone yet but they had the road up in No and entering the towm from the a16 from calias was blocked off so sent the sat nav wonky.

My freind got back from Brugge aire last week and the water and waste was frozen - even the suply on the caoch park was off.
