In fact I know exactly where this van is, in a dealers yard in Nottinghamshire!
It has had four previous owners, which seems quite high. I guess with the large membership numbers here, there is an outside chance that someone here may know of the van and its history. If so I would be most grateful for any opinions as in a couple of weeks I should be No. 5

Check the vehicle out from it's records at the DVLA, this can be done here:

But to put it into perspective I bought a used van that had had 3 previous owners in 4years but having given it a good check inside and out I then believed the dealers story ...he had sold it twice before and knew all the previous owners and the reasons for sale.......we have owned it for 2+ years now and there is nothing about it that could have caused it to be sold so quickly by its previous owners...quite the opposite it had had little use and is in excellent condition (still) . It was not a lemon
After the events of the last few weeks nothing surprises me anymore on the length of time people hold onto their vans.
I'm a perfect example.. bought my van brand new in May 05 and already have changed it for a new van to be delivered in Feb/Mar 06. Anybody reading the thread Tag Axle will know my reasons for changing but it will raise a few eyebrows when sitting on the forecourt and not even have celebrated it's first birthday.
I'm not the only one either.. a few of my friends, 5 in fact, have also changed their vans and all vans are less than 18 months old. And the funny thing is there is not one reason (no mechanical or build flaws) between all 6 of us to really warrant changing except temptation.

Further to the enquiry process, basic info can be found FOC, on the following site.
For a Vehicle Enquiry all you need is vehicle make ( for MH this would be base vehicle ) and registration and you can find out when vehicle was last taxed, ( i.e. used, if law abiding owner ) and when last V5 issued ( usually last change of ownership)
