DigitalUK have announced that ITV1+1 will be launching on 11th January.
Also anyone receiving digital transmissions from the Mendip transmitter will need to retune on the same day as the frequency on Mux D will be changing.

Does anyone know why the channel line up on Freeview is different to Freesat ?

Because it is a different service from a different Company. It is just the same when you compare freesat with Sky or Virgin.
Having channels available on a platform is very expensive and many broadcasters cannot justify the expense.

I wanna know why on ITV1 HD we get pah pah stuff from over the Pennines (Granada) when we are in Yarkshire? All our ITV1 HD is based over yonder!

Anyway, Yorkshire doesn't switch over until 2011, so you are borrowing the signal from Granada.
