Cant wait for the finished article, but one question can you search by size of unit accepted by the campsite?
you cannot search specifically for set sizes, but you can search for "Campsites suitable for RVs/Large MHs" which is the same as can be done with MHF Online Campsite Database
Is it likely to be available for the spring/summer travellers?

Things are moving forward, the bug testers and myself are identifying issues daily submitting them to the developers who are releasing a new build about every other day
tbh the app works well for the non map functionality as is, but we want offline (i.e. non internet connection) based mapping as well, and not just static mapping a la campingcar infos cd / usb version but full interactive i.e. you can search for a type of campsite and see the icons plotted just for those but this seems to be very complex for coders to implement but I am still holding out hope for a 100% implementation of this functionality as well
Currently the app does the following:-
1. Allows you to do a search by filter, almost the same as the main search page for mhf online database i.e. checkboxes / dropdowns etc
2. Search by Type gives you category selection, filter by country / facilities and search radius (although search radius is flaky atm)
3. multilingual support for the actual interface i.e. the menu system but not the actual entries themselves (although this may be implemented in a later version)
4. Update facility for new additions to campsite database. You can manually update the app with any new additions to our database easily when online
5. Update facility for core application. If any bugs are found / new enhancements added in the future you can be assured you will be up to date by simply upgrading the app over the internet. No 2012/2013/2014 purchase update required
6. Track costs - App has built in facility to track costs for downloaded updates etc so if you are away from home on a cellular connection you can check how much it should cost once the updates have downloaded.

8. Submit Additional Campsite Reviews from the application
tbh we have some minor and not so minor bugs being worked on but the mapping is the bottleneck atm, if we can get this cracked the rest can be resolved in days
