I started by buying 2 sets to level the tag and front. Tried to use them and couldn't get the second one between the wheels so levelled front and left the back without ramps. I returned the second set.
If you are making them yourself I would have thought a series of wooden boxes would withstand the weight. Might be worth filling the space with expanding foam.
If pressed -I use the excuese --if you don't need to be roped into bed it's level enough. That didn't come out right!!!

My twin axle van weighed some (old Buccaneer) and they lasted years, I just wish I had kept hold of them so I could use them now......
