I'm looking at Saga £65 UK + £15 extra for EU, seems very reasonable.
Should I look elsewhere. CC quote £62 UK plus £93 for single trip to EU.
Anybody any experience of the Saga service?

Will that policy cover your motorhome? seems cheap. I think RAC arrive is the only policy I know of that fully covers your motorhome.

I have just arranged breakdown insurance through Britannia Rescue. My RV is 10.5 Metres long and I have a 4 metre trailer attached. They were the only company that would cover it and give 180 days European cover without providing motor insurance as well.

They cost me about £150 for the year

Be very careful to check the length, weight and periods out of UK covered by the Saga policies, we did consider changing from Safeguard a couple of years ago but found the cover totaly inadequate for our needs.
Will be interested to know if they have changed cover as we did point out to them the problems at the time.

Hope that this is not becoming a bore.

SAGA confirm that there is no limit on length & weight, seems very strange I could have an ex London RouteMaster bus!

GreenFlag have just quoted £118 inc 90 days in EU and recovery to anywhere in the UK.

Unless I get a strong steer before the weekend I will go with SAGA.
