I don't know how many other forum members are following George and his travels around the USA in his RV, but once you start accessing his website it becomes rather addictive.

His style may not be to everyone’s taste - he anthropomorphizes his RV and kit – eg Mr. Sony Mavica (digital camera), Mr Onan (generator) – but you get used to it.

He posts daily bulletins to his website using Mr. DataStorm (Satellite Internet Antenna) with text and images, and you can follow his progress using downloadable maps.

I am minded to post the link to his website because he is currently in Yosemite National Park, which is my favourite place on our planet. The view of Half Dome from the Wawona tunnel is awesome.

You can find and enjoy George here: http://vagabonders-supreme.net/blog/blog.html

Brings back memories when we lived in California 1988 to 90, I worked in LA. We had a T3 VW westfalia & travelled along PCH1 to San Francisco then across to Yosemite, we also used to go down to San Diego a few times. Often though we were working 12 hours days but only 7 days a week Shocked , so it was all I could do to get in the jacuzzi before going to bed Sad . I would love to go back & buy a motorhome just to travel around, whatever peoples opinions of the USA & americans it is a fantastic country to visit, memories of places like the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Canyon de Chelly, Big Bear.............ahh if only I'd stayed I would probably be retired living the life in a big winnebago Rolling Eyes
