Use the speedometer to convert from British Pounds to Euro, as the rate is the same as mph to kph.

Insert an absorbent mat below your gas bottles to prevent the condensation while the cylinder is used it prevents a pool of water at the bottom the hatch.

Always keep that letter card issued at EuroTunnel, as the next time you travel the chunnel you can use it to change lanes and jump the queue.

Use domestic slip on pipe insulation to protect the paintwork and stop rattles on the roof bars.

Use the pet collars from cats to strap the folding tailgate on the rear bike rack.

Toothpaste can be used to remove black rain marks from below the windows (tried this and it works).

Never choose a pitch under or near big trees as it interferes with television reception.

Put a plastic bag sealed containing equal amounts of salt and ice cubes into the freezing compartment of the fridge before departure. This will bring the freezer to well below freezing temperature within an hour.

I'm sure there's more .......

Hi Drifter
Is it wise to block the vents in the gas bottle compartment.
