Shocked

Some people have funny ideas!! and makes me wonder how the ceiling carpets get dirty in the first place!!

Anyway, yes we have carpets on all 6 sides of the van its a panel conversion so its a bit like some cars have carpeted roofs.

How does everyone else clean their upholstrey? or is yours 'Wipe Clean' Wink

A

LOL Is your imagination running away with you.

Seriously carpeting on the ceiling and upper luggage space did reduce the noise. But it did need cleaning from time to time. Just general dirt in the atmosphere. Makes you wonder what the inside of our lungs is like.

Hello Motorhomer -
I have to admit I've not really noticed what is on my ceiling and it's raining and dark so not going out to find out, but it's hardish and definitely not carpet.

I wonder how flies know where they are?

Hi

If its hardish its probably wipe clean. The ceiling in our loo compartment is hardish probably for hygeine reasons. But hey who on hearth would be making that dirty.

"I wonder how flies know where they are?" Did I miss something?!!

Well, Pete, my mind is boggling now,
I deplore carpets on motorhome floors about as much use as a chocolate kettle, why they ever fit them beats me. On pevious vans I've ripped them out and laid cork tyling, much more practical.
My present van, which is typical of continental vans has a vinyl floor covering.
But all is not lost, my wife and I sleep in the luton which has a carpeted roof Wink As for carpet burns ...hmmm I doubt there is enough room but I'll give it a try and report back Very Happy

I must admit last van which had removable carpets was easier to keep clean than this one. Dont know about ceiling carpets but we have "wall carpet" I suppose
