well i have got the benefit of a colour reversing camera system with audio and it is most helpful reversing my MH into driveways and into small crannies on CLs/Css.

the system is a Mobitronic one and was installed by Vanbitz when i had my Strikeback installed. I am very pleased with it so far and the audio also comes in handy when the area is really tight and Jue gets out to make sure i am okay as i can hear her talking in the cab rather than straining to see her in my side mirrors gesticulating wildy as i reverse into posts etc Laughing

Hi Hugo and welcome,

Where you get them (reversing cameras) depends really on how much you want to spend. People like VanBitz stock them, but I don’t know what price they are. Or you can assemble your own for under £150. New colour cameras are about £30 to £50, and colour LCD monitors are anything from about £80 upwards for a 5” screen with x-flip (image reversal = mirror image). Sainsburys were offering suitable LCD TV/Monitors for about £86 the other day (check out previous posts). But most of the bit can be obtained from eBay at competitive prices. Then you just plug it all together. The most difficult bit of assembling your own is making up a long lead to go from the camera to the screen.

BTW is you visit my site, I have a camera for sale.

No not selling to the American, part ex'ing.
Yes we are very squashed. Worst problem is no bathroom after years of caravans couldn't get used to the mad morning dash across the field or using the p-p in the gangway while we watched each other. Embarassed Making the beds up is an interesting exercise in gymnastics & people/dog organisational skills as well & they're not even that comfy. Evil or Very Mad
Looked at some 4 berths but they all seem to be 2 doubles & great arguments ensued over who could have one to themselves & who had to share.
So we looked at this one & fell in love. Kids get a double each so can bring a friend if they want to & I get a ready made single (with a bunk above) with its own privacy curtain & right next to the bathroom. Laughing
The dog can share with daughter.
I can foresee many problems with height & length - & that's just getting it on my driveway, nevermind finding places to park, but that's my problem not the kids so they don't care. Exclamation
