Any personal recommendations?

I have found a couple on the web - but I have no idea what they are like.

Anyone on here used a mobile habitation check/service guy (to NCC standards) in the Stirlingshire or central belt west coast area?

Thanks

Never used them myself, but I've heard good reports about McPhails, near Lanark;

I have used Mcphails of Carstairs a couple of times...Joe and his wife are very helpful..they have carried out Habitation checks +frost damage repair to my Rapido 790+..
I dont think they do a mobile service but there is free coffee a cumfy couch and plenty of reading material..you will find them easily on the web.
They have new w/shops and are very easy to find..I traveled from Balloch at L.Lomond and will use them again this year,,

Hope this helps.

Don't know if you've already made your arrangements but can recommend James at Approved Caravan Services (07900 205360). He's based by the Erskine Bridge and as the name suggests, he's approved by a host of bodies including I believe, the Caravan Club and Swift (for whom he can do warranty work.) I've used him before a number of times and would have no hesitation recommending him.

We have just had our hab check done by a mobile tech who is National Caravan Council approved (accepted by Swift without any warranty problems). Good value when compared to the dealer and a lot more convenient as he came to us.

May be worth using the approved workshop finder to see if there is one local to you?
