I came across this report re oil additives which might be of interest if like me you own a fiat pre 2002.

thanks for the link, makes extremely interesting reading and reinforces my own belief that oil additives are at best a waste of money and at worst can damage rather than prevent wear.

As you say it makes very interesting reading and it would appear that some of my previous posted thoughts were not completely groundless, however when reading the article, hopefully with an open mind, I couldn’t help feeling that the author was on a bit of a crusade.
