Cool well, we do ours with pink and blue, and someone else mentioned little black bits, but we don't have them, queen Laughing

After using Thetford toilet chemicals and having the "little black bits", appear with the flushing water, I tried using Carapak "Carasept" in both waste tank and flush water tank. It cleaned up the system a treat. Now the system is clean, I use Carasept in the waste tank, and Caraflush in the flush water tank as it has a better detergent action than the waste tank product.

Only problem is that Carapak only sell at shows and as Mail Order - not so convenient if you run short (of toilet treatment that is!).

Carapak also more expensive -but [supposedly] better for environment.

Evening twooks,

The details for Carapak on an order form I have are as follows:-

Tel: 0800 9700860

Web: www.carapak.co.uk

Address: Biopro, Kirkleys House, Kirk Langley, Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
DE6 4ZY

The Treatment for the Waste Tank is called "Carasept", and the flushing agent is "Caraflush".

It used to need 125ml of treatment per fill (both types), but the batch I bought at the York show only requires 50ml per treatment.
Needless to say, If you don't have a seperate flushing tank, you won't need the flushing agent.

I've been using these in preference to the chemical based ones for about 2 years, and prefer them to other types of treatment.
