Hi Folks,

Having dithered over what sun shelter to go for, we have now opted for a pop up gazebo instead of an awning. Cool
Having put it up in the garden this morning complete with the three curtains (optional extra) it looks a straightforward affair and even first time, without any instructions, it was quick. Surprised The zip up bag will either sit nicely on the cycle rack or lay in the centre aisle while travelling.
The question which now comes to mind is whether there would be any objection from site owners. It's 3x3 meters and as there is no groundsheet it won't damage the grass. I will phone before booking but I just wondered if anyone else has a gazebo and, if so, have they come across any opposition.

Hi

never used one but seen plenty up on sites. As far as I know there is no restrictions provided you have the space ands don't encroach on an others pitch.
Often you will see caravans with awnings and gazebo's out front.. especially in France and Spain.

Thank for that Jim. Very Happy It was an afterthought which had me worried. I had visions of forking out for the gazebo and then not being able to take it. Laughing

Had ours 3m2 up this w/end, took it down this morning with an audience who were impressed with the speed compared with an awning. We have never been questioned over size either here or France. Wouldnt worry about it
