Pressurised water system issue

We have a pressurised water system on our Eura Mobil (ie not micro switch type). When the vehicle was new a slowly running tape would have a nice constant flow regardless of how the pump switched in and out, now however the water pressure varies as the pump starts and stops. Is this known to be indicative of any impending problem?

Any help much appreciated.

Hi Ben and Lizzie, I once had a problem like that and it could either be air in the system, or on the end of the tap there may be a small filter which screws in to the tap, if so unscrew the filter and clean it then replace and try again.
There is also a filter near the pump usually which may need cleaning. I hope this is of use to you and good luck finding the problem,

I would say the diaphragm in your pressure damper unit is punctured, or if its an expensive type there will be a valve on the top to re-pressurise the diaphragm
