I was looking for a small lightweight printer to use in the RV. I had an Epson R800 which although gave superb results was quite heavy and bulky plus the ink cartridges @ 8 x £12 were expensive to say the least.
I bought the Canon PIXMA 2200 from Savastore. £40 + postage.

So far I am delighted, the print quality excellent and is every bit as good as the R800, the software package is comprehensive and intuitive to use, all in all a great buy 
PS.. I just noticed it's now £42.98 |

Hi, Jim
I don't know if you replace your cartridges or refill them, but I have a Cannon printer and i find the cheapest place for replacement cartridges are Morrisons the supermaket chain (old Safeways)? for my i475D the black are £2.99 and colour £3.49
just for info ?

I have used many of them for photo's in my Cannon Pixma IP3000 with no prolems at all, Good colour no banding, I buy about 20 at a time.

Thanks Ken.. I was in Tesco today and they have a terrific range of inks at decent prices .. but none for mine yet ... 
but I did find a way to spend money (as you do  )
I bought a laminator for 14 quit.. |
