For browsing offline we all know how to save individual web pages but this is slow and very time consuming if you want to save every page of a large site. For example, I wanted to save every page from http://www.campingcar-infos.com and to do this automatically I looked for a free web page ripper..
Using this program it is possible to download a complete site and browse it offline, complete with pictures and menus, no different to being online.
The one I found is called Web Copier .. it's shareware, free to try for 15 days.. http://www.maximumsoft.com/

Hi

Just a word of warning....HTTrack ( and other sim progs) which is a clever bit of programming, may get you banned from accessing certain security conscious sites. (MHF for example)

Mike

P.S. Not you personally just your IP

lol therein talks a voice of experience Wink

The reason a lot of sites dont like you downloading the entire site like that is the amount of bandwidth you consume by doing so. i.e. it would probably be going for hours and hours trying to download a big site and all that bandwidth costs someone money, usually the site owner Wink
