I know a lot of folk love campsites next to a river or the sea, just stumbled across this book which (I think) is new out this year and lists about 2,500 French 'Campings' to cater for those needs.....

.

Its from the same publishers of the aires book, if you follow the following link you should be able to order online or get it from the 'hypermarche' when you get over there.

Nope, its for sale Rolling Eyes

We're thinking of getting a RIB on a trailer, easier to get in and out of the water.

With that nice new gaping garage to fill with toys, you could have a folding RIB with outboard & sail, Brompton bikes, scooter ....

Dave,

Her indoors reckons she has plans for that gaping garage but she has been sternly informed by the head of the household that it is a 'wife free zone' - guess that means its her garage after all Rolling Eyes

You keep mentioning Bromptons, you know you want to sell them Laughing

A folding RIB, is there such a thing? Guess i'll have to postpone this as i'm already over budget on the laptop (your fault) Wink

Smacking my wrist for going off my own topic here.

Pete,

Nothing on the grand scale of your boat, but if you want to carry something in the motorhome you can row, fish from, sail and skim across rivers and lakes at 15 knots with a mere 5hp outboard ....

Thanks Dave,

worth thinking about, but with all the other stuff getting crammed into 'our' garage I need to keep a close eye on the rear axle weight, you wouldn't believe the amount of stuff that is 'planned' to go in there.
