The good lady wife has indicated that her seat back has a little wear at the hinge points. My base vehicle is a '99 Fiat Ducato and the seat has 2 plastic adjusters (one each side), which simply press onto a 3 point metal plate which is connected through to the other side by a long square rod.

There are 2 round plates with indents at the hinge point and there is a small amount of play at these points. I cannot see any means of adjusting these and just wondered if anyone else had been able to overcome the problem (short of replacement seats Laughing )

Could you post a photo as I’m finding it hard to visualise the bits your on about. What problems is the wear causing your wife?

Hi,

Standard round, black plastic, seat back adjusters. When these are turned the seat-back is reclined or raised towards vertical. It can be slightly annoying I suppose for anyone sitting in the seat as there is movement in the back part.

The parts described are the basic, standard, seat-back mechanism. I have since looked at it very closely and I don't think there is any adjustment, short of dismantling the bits mentioned and squeezing them in a vice ! Crying or Very sad
