What do you find to be the best aerial for picture quality when using a freeview box in the Uk?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

We have an Image 530/18.2 See:

This attaches to the bike rack of the van with velcro and elastic trouser cycle clips ( Tesco) and gives us an excellent picture even in quite difficult conditions. It has the advantage of being able to be adjusted for horizontal or vertical polarity - something that many people don't seem to realise is an option.

The similar Maxview aerial is probably even better but is more difficult to store as it is bigger. Ours, plus its pole, fits neatly in the outside locker.

We use a Status 530/5, a bit pricey but worth it, especially as it's peeing down outside at the moment and you don't have to go out to adjust it.

Hi Texas

You might like to look at this thread, as you too have a smaller van the aerial I use would be very suitable. I gives a good signal, is directional and fits into a small space for storage. Also in the thread Peedee tells you how to do the job for £6.95.
