hi all i am looking for a campsite in north france for five nights,or belguium with facilities for kids(half term) with the view to crimbo supplies on way home ...can you help? ive looked in database but they all seem to close in september

Hi
You can wild camp safely with kids in Depanne which is in belgium just over the French border, Plenty to do for adults/teenagers and a good tram service up the coast. If you move along the coast a bit to Oostenkerke(spelling) you can have a night in the car park opposite tram track/stop.Oostenkerke has a sunparks that has a tropically heated water park, this is great for kids and adults but it cost us £30(two adults & two kids).

I would also recommend the DePanne area for duty free, but have a look in all the shops alongside the canal, the price varies on some items from shop to shop.
