BEWARE! Swinton have two insurers for 'motorcaravans' on their main site you may get directed to either:

0800 013 0081. This is Lancaster, part of Swinton and they would not insure my motorhome, no explanation just sorry we don't insure Elnagh's. When I dug around on google I got another motorcaravan number, this put me back to the Swinton website and, with the same headings 'Motorcaravan Insuarnce' and same icons with Lancaster but different telephone number: 0800 068 7652. This WAS Safeguard and, not only could they insure the MH, but much cheaper than anyone else!!

For example, don't go to Swinton and contact us, that 0800 number for motorcaravans is Lancaster. Also, main page is Lancaster too

I have recently approached Safeguard for a quote on my motorhome. I got their number through the Swinton homepage and everything seemed to be working fine. May be there was an error with their website at the time you tried it? The number I called and which I got from the Motorcaravan page was 0800 068 7562.

We bought a new MH last week from Geoff Cox at the NEC, when we had finished they took us over to Safeguard stand and they gave us a very competitive quote too and we had looked around previously to buying the van and expected to pay alot more, and it covered us for everything and everywhere we needed it

Noticed when we got home that Safeguard on the web site of Geoff Cox, so that was the link

MHF has its own number you can dial which will allow you to claim your discounted insurance on as well
