Hi

I would guess that if a vehicle or person coming towards the front direction of the van hits the mirror, they will spring out of the way quite readily.

However, if the hit the mirror from the "glass side" I suspect it might not deflect quite so quickly.

Hi suraman,I said the same myself in a post two or three weeks ago, chappie from Auto-trail told me a replacement mirror unit was likely to cost around £400.When I get my van I am thinking about folding them back and fixing those extending things the tuggers use to them.In the Ducato the indicator repeater lens is fixed into the mirror unit so,smash the lens and the whole unit has to be replaced! What will they think of next to part us from our hard earned cash? paddywhack.
