Assuming that you are not riding the clutch all the time, then perhaps the person who fitted the last clutch possibly didn't fit a heavy duty clutch plate, complete with new pressure plate and thrust bearing.
A more professional reply will be along shortly.
What mileage have you done since the last clutch was fitted?
Jock.

Obviously if you're certain that the clutch is worn rather than the cable needs adjustment, there is no alternative to removing the box, however elsewhere on the forum there is a thread on 5th gear problems which indicates it is possible to replace the 5th gear cogs with the box in situ ( this relates to the post 95 Ducatos, don't know about the earlier ones )

thanks steptoe for your help with my clutch prob, while doing the 5th gear problem i've found out the garage who fitted the clutch had faced the clutch plate the wrong way, thats why it had been slipping from when they done it

I suspected clutch slip on our Peugot 2,5TD from new. When the turbo came in the sound was similar to the noise of a slipping clutch and I had the feeling that the clutch was not capable of handling the additional power.
When the third clutch in 33,000 miles was fitted, a new clutch cable was fitted and this appears to have cured the problem, might be worth considering when changing a clutch.
