Hi All,

Local dealer is offering me a Mclouis 410 brand new for £23,000. Seems very reasonable for a brand new van........but I'm a real newbie so don't wanna get sucked in by the sales speak ( would be my first van).

Anyone got any experience or comments on this van.

Thanks in advance.

Gravy

This is purely hearsay but I was recently in contact with the previous owners of the m\h I bought a few weeks ago. They part exchanged my m\h for a Mclouis (which I thought was Scottish but is actually Italian -
McMussilini Crying or Very sad ). They have been touring in France and still are in their new one and are very happy with it indeed. They are m\h people who have been doing it for many years starting of with the old VW a long time ago. They purchased it from PandP campers in Portsmouth.

I realise its hardly a full recommendation but at least it is something.

Hi just met a couple when i was down in Derby who had a mclouis 620 tandy. The guy chris said the only problem he had with it was the cab a/c
the mclouis was great best van he has had. Seeing as i have ordered one (with out a/c )makes me that little bit happier knowing that chris gives it a good recommendation Smile

As far as I am aware, its a badge job of another one or two brands in the same group who in general have a good reputation and seem value for money. These are the vans that prompted the British convertors to bring out "budget" models to compete

This may be of interest to you, Mr. Stuffing, or may I call you Gravy.... includes a manual in English which apparently is normally supplied in Italian.
