Could anyone recommend any camp sites in France suitable for families any region. We are planning a trip in the near future and wondered if any one knew of any nice ones. Also can you purchase a book with sites in it (similar to the Cades one here). There is probably a list or something on this site but can't find it (probably not looking hard enough)

The best which includes Aires is Le Guide Officiel - Camping Car it comes out each year and can be bought in this country via one of the clubs.
(its in French but easy to work out)

There is another Michelin Guide to Camping & caravanning in France which isnt bad.
The Alan Rodgers Guides are also avaiable

If you are in this region then this is a must stop south east of Lyon and about 35 miles fron Annecy with another lake. Annecy is like a little venice in the old part.
