Does anybody have any experience of CI motorhomes - the Carioca 5/656 in particular - we ideally want a mh with 2 bunks for our young children with a budget under £30,000. Any ideas or advice?

Okay first things first, who said you could use my face (only joking). Laughing

I have a C I Mizar it has two bunks in the back and the biggest bubble above the cab I have seen to date. Shocked

The equipment level is very good and the quality is excellent.

A little over your budget, but if you have the chance, check one out before you decide.

Try Davan in Weston super mare, very good service.

Hi Lloydj

Please consider carefully the quality versus value for money issue when considering buying a CI motorcaravan.

In Oct 2002 I purchased a new Riviera 181 garage having previously owned an older Kontiki - I was very dissapointed in the quality of the fit out and attention to detail - myself and the dealer were constantly having to complete warenty jobs on it.

The following october I exchanged it for my present Eura Mobil also a garage model and while dearer you get what you pay for as regards quality - you pay your money and takes your choice.

Thanks for the advice - I've looked at the Mizar - very nice but with 2 youngsters under 4 - I can't really justify the extra £10000. The Carioca 5 is certainly more basic but the 2005 spec is now 2.3td and grp body.
