Hello Dave

I was recently reccomended this card Other half had one or two queries on it so we emailed our questions and had a reply al;most instantly.

At the moment we just have a French Sim Card which has worked well but is a fiddle to keep it active especially when your travel plans are disrupted as ours have been & you dont have a top up voucher & This one roam card remains active there is no time limit on the credit. Also there is an automatic top up option. It is also easy to top up on the internet anywhere in the world. We will certainly get one when we are able to go abroad again.

One item I may be able to benifit from having a discount.

Hello all

This is Bryan (The Snail) using Vic Dic Docs puter.,

We have signed up to one roam and after a few initial problems (which were quickly solved by the help desk) everything seems to be going well.

I did promise to put a post on the site if it worked so here it is.

Bryan

Another very good feature of Oneroam is that you can receive calls on your mobile from the UK at 10p per minute total cost.
By this I mean there is no cost on the mobile side just 10p per minute charged to the UK caller.
This is done by ringing an 0871 number 1st then the mobile.
It's a very cheap and convenient way for "Home" to get in touch while you're away.

We've just this am signed up and sent for the Oneroam simcard etc.

I've booked into a hospital in Abbeville to have my knee replaced in 2 weeks time so will see how well the Oneroam system works.
(Will be able to see how the French medical system works too. Sad )

We are registered with 18185 as it gives Irina the cheapest call to the Ukraine and Russia.

This allows us cheap mobile calls abroad.

If we used one of these cards would it receive incoming call without charging us?

or

would it be better to but a local PAYG card?
