Hi all,

To the IT literate amongst you, please can you help?

Our PC continually gets automatic updates in the form of "MS Office XP SP 3", which will not install.

A window opens up saying that the "Network Resource is unavailable".
Another window pops up inviting me to "Search using an alternative path by typing in PROPLUS MSI in the window".

This I do, and then click on browse. A window full of folders/files pops up, and when I click on search, the file cannot be found.

The installation is then unsuccessful.

I have checked out the MS Windows update site to try and find this PROPLUS MSI, but am not having any luck.

Any ideas please?

Jock

Hi Jacquie,
Thanks for the link. It is scanning for missing files/keys etc.

Hi Jeff,
It is a legitimate license thanks. Updates are not normally a problem, but this particular one is.

Jock.
