Although this is not the answer to the problem the fax no. referred to in the code is the Grosvenor Park Hotel in Edinburgh. Have you had emails from them?

I'm a bit of a thicko when it comes to all these word.
Its ok with Outlook Express.
Now you've got me going - Does that mean you do use Outlook Express and your problem doesn't happen?

I used Eircom. Is that a browser???
I live in Ireland.
Eircom is an Irish telecom company so must be your Internet Service Provider (ISP) The browser is the program you surf with - eg Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox or Opera etc etc. Just to complicate things some ISPs actually provided their own brand browsers - eg AOL (well they used to - I dont know if they still do)
Some people surf and view and send their emails just using their browsers and it is generally called webmail.
Others use a program like Outlook Express or Thunderbird to 'collect' email from their Service Providers special Mail servers - this is usually called POP3 email.
Some use a combination of both methods which most ISPs provide in addition to popular free ones like Hotmail, Yahoo & Googlemail.
All sounds very basic stuff but you will need to understand the basics to be able to sort any problems like the one you started with.
Hope that helps - Paul

Is this the only strange text you're getting in your emails?
Is there any other stuff coming through?
And you say it's on all of them - exactly the same?
So the phone / fax number is the same each time?
It sounds to me like Eircom are trying to stuff adverts in or something. Is there an advert on the page? It may be that the people attaching the advert have screwed up their coding, maybe by missing an element off the start, so instead of the browser interpreting the codes as instructions on the format, it's just reproducing the text 'cos it can't understand it.
Have you tried browsing with a different browser? Firefox (

Good luck!
