Might I firstly apologise for asking a daft question, but they are sometimes the hardest to answer.
How do you get a euro sign? I have dollars and pounds as keys (shift 3 or 4) Using an elderly WINDOWS equipped keyboard under W98 SE and also a "modern "laptop with 'XP.

I think you have just saved me about 40€ as I was going to buy an Italian keyboard for use with my home work etc!
e é a á - problem is the accent is pointing the wrong way!
They are acute accents - I need the grave version. Uffa!

There's probably an easier way but heres how I did it.....
If you have word or works, go into it and open up a document.
Now click on 'insert' at the top, then select 'special character' you need.
A box with all the characters available will then appear, select the letter you need and the code to obtain this letter (alt + number) will appear. Make a note as you will need to type this in future to get this letter.
